Mission Statement

It is the purpose of Northland Community Schools to provide all students the opportunity to develop their talents, to teach them the skills necessary to realize their full potential and by example, to inspire them to become sensitive and productive members of society. Northland Community Schools is a Pre-K- through 12 public school serving the Remer, Longville, Boy River, Federal Dam, and Outing areas.

Northland Community Schools is located within Cass County in the community of Remer, MN. Residents of our district enjoy the beauty and boundless forms of recreation on our many lakes and public forest lands. Hunting, fishing, skiing, snowmobiling, and camping are only a few of the opportunities available literally outside our front door.

The student population at Northland Community Schools numbers approximately 400 students. Within this rural school setting our class sizes remain small which allows staff to develop positive relationships with our students, families and communities. Through these relationships we are able to work together to better serve the needs of all.
